Austin Awake is a network of intercessors contending for the welfare of this city — praying with Kingdom authority so Austin's spiritual atmosphere turns toward the truth of Jesus Christ.
Division, spiritual apathy, and a quiet sense that someone else is already praying about this keep intercessors praying alone — right when the ekklesia needs to rise together, not stay scattered.
"…on this rock I will build my church (Greek: ekklesia), and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
— Matthew 16:18, ESV
Elections, culture, and daily life in Austin are shaped by whoever shows up with authority. Historically, believers have abdicated that role in the city.
We contend for it — with you.
Most intercessors pray alone, without strategy or a sense their prayers are joined to the wider work God is doing across the city.
We equip intercessors in community.
Kingdom breakthrough doesn't come from good intentions. It comes when the ekklesia physically gathers, again and again, until the atmosphere shifts.
We gather leaders for breakthrough.
That conviction became public in November 2023, when Luke 4:18 Ministries, Austin Baptist Association, Prayerfields, and other local ministry leaders came together for the first Prayer Strike, built on one belief: the ekklesia, the governing, praying body of the church, carries the authority to contend for this city. It hasn't stopped since.
We're not a stage production. No celebrity lineup, no long teachings — just the ekklesia gathered to pray, declare, and listen for what God is saying over Austin, led by a discernment team that has met continuously since day one.
Register for the Aug 22 Prayer Training below. Space is limited and confirmed on registration.
Come as you are. No performance — just prayer, worship, and listening together as the ekklesia.
Join a task team, submit a dream or vision, or stay connected as we advance the Kingdom together.
A full day of hands-on training for intercessors — how to pray with strategy, discern what you're hearing, and carry Kingdom authority into a group setting. Built for anyone ready to move from praying alone to praying with the ekklesia. Be empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Real testimonies of transformation
1 Corinthians 14:1
Ephesians 5:18
Austin's spiritual atmosphere keeps drifting on its own momentum, shaped by whoever shows up loudest. Another year passes without the ekklesia rising in sustained, united authority over the city.
A growing, united ekklesia gathers consistently. Dreams are shared and acted on, and Austin's spiritual atmosphere transforms toward openness for the gospel. The Kingdom advances through people who show up.
"In prayer, God is not looking for numbers — just two or three."
