Praying For Austin

Vision & Mission

What we're praying toward, and how we get there.

Vision

  • To see the Austin region awakened to the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
  • To see the Kingdom of God advance so that every person in our area can know Him.
  • To see prayer for the lost and the body of Christ happening everywhere.
  • To see the spiritual atmosphere over Austin change to openness for the gospel.

Mission

  • To build a network of intercessors who pray for the welfare of Austin.Jeremiah 29:7
  • To equip and empower believers to pray and serve in faith and hope.Ephesians 4:12 · 1 Corinthians 13:13
  • To develop strategy for believers to walk in authority as the ekklesia.Matthew 16:18
  • To advance the work of prayer that will offer hope and strategy to the ekklesia.
  • To pray for revival citywide for every family and church and business.

Two essential words for the city of Austin.

Ekklesia

The authoritative arm of the church whose responsibility is to govern. It is God's original design and commission for the body of Christ that carries the keys of the Kingdom and prevails over the gates of Hades/death.

Revival

A season of breakthroughs in word, deed and power that ushers in a new normal of Kingdom experience and fruitfulness.
