Large multimedia theater style room with a stage and fixed seating. Has A/V systems in the room including a large scale projection system. No food or drink is permitted in this space. See below for map of the Capitol E1 extension.
Each day 9:30a-12n is recorded worship music and the room is open for prayer/scripture reading and meditation
Prayer leaders help keep this pace of the 4:30p-7:30p. Prayer Leaders work with the worship team to combine worship, prayer, scripture reading, message on the 10 days daily topic and overall flow. The Prayer leader may invite others to come and co-lead. Communion is available with small cups, and the elements will be provided by Austin Awake.
Who: All are invited to come and pray for the return of Jesus, Repentance and Worship
The 10 Days event is an international and national time set aside to pray for the Return of Jesus, Repentance and Worship of our Lord. It is based on the 10 Days in the Upper Room in Acts and happens twice a year in Spring before Pentecost and in the Fall during the “Days of Awe” between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Everyone is invited to participate at this “come and go” event for our Nation, State, and Austin area.

Other teams welcome to stay and participate
• Choose a specific day to host on behalf of your city/region/legislative district (coordinate day with Austin Awake(mel@eoftx.org). One of your legislators will be asked to host on the day you select to sponsor the room we use. You can join as early as 9:30 AM and stay as long as you wish.
• Come prepared with an instrument and at least one worship leader (or more), one person to facilitate prayer, and one to share 15-20 min. on the theme of the day some time during the 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM session. Start promptly at 12noon as we are praying for State employees to come and experience His presence.
• Banners, flags, etc. welcomed but no sharp pointed items–all things must pass through security at the capitol.
• City teams welcomed to come for as much as they like but they will be asked to lead the 12n-4p afternoon session.
• Parking is “tight” around the Capitol and all are instructed to park on the north side of the building. State parking and street parking is available. Arrive early!!!
• Austin Awake will need addresses of those attending so we can notify your state representatives and reserve the rooms on your behalf. If you are all from the same area Austin Awake will need just one address.
• If you know other cities and teams send them to Austin Awake at the below contact information so they can schedule their day.
• Austin Worship teams are needed each day 4:30p-7:30p. Please have worship teams contact Austin Awake to sign up.

Worship team will need to bring instruments, microphone and music stands, monitors and any other needed equipment.
Main Entrance: Use the North Entrance of the Capitol.
Parking:
Primary: Capitol Visitors Parking Garage – 1201 San Jacinto Blvd
Alternate: Limited metered parking is available on 14th East and 13th East (free on Sundays).
Once Inside:
Enter through any entrance (North, South, East, or West).
Head to the Rotunda, then find the North Elevators (restrooms are nearby on street level).
Take the elevator to Level E1.
Follow signs to Auditorium E1.004 – it will be on your right down the hall.
Capitol Grill (across from the auditorium)
Open Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 3 PM
Hot food available until 2 PM
Restrooms are also located on E1 level near the café — just ask the staff if needed.
